Team Coaching

Let us help you transform the way your team works together.

A team is more than a collection of individuals. It’s a unit and a system in itself, one that we can help you fine-tune.

Radiate is a corporate communications and coaching firm in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Offering team coaching services.

In team coaching, the team itself is the client. Where traditional one-on-one coaching helps individuals unlock new perspectives on their work and their relationships, team coaching does this for the intact team. The focus is on defining a common purpose, understanding individual roles and how they contribute to that purpose, and exploring the ways that interpersonal dynamics on a team either help or hinder the team's success.

Our team coaching programs take place over a designated period, with each session building on the last to deliver meaningful and enduring change in how your team operates. It's an intensive, rewarding process that has the power to fundamentally transform the way people work together to achieve a common goal.

Our coaching engagements are flexible and designed in consultation with HR and the team, with in-person “kick-offs” and virtual follow-up options. Team coaching typically includes the following:

  • Intake: This is the contracting phase and involves discussion with the team leader and sponsor to understand why team coaching is required.

  • Design: Diagnosis is made in confidential meetings with Team members to determine the team’s current state, what works well about the team, what does not work well, and why.

  • Assessment: Tools such as DISC, Hogan or EQ-I may be used to help the team better understand its dynamics.

  • Ongoing Coaching: Meeting monthly for about 2-3 hours, often approximately six months (with flexibility).

  • Completion: The final coaching session is a reflection with the team on successes, ongoing sustainment and next steps, often after a small hiatus.
